About Us

Points Learning Network is an educational organisation based in Sheffield that works with over 30 primary and secondary schools, supporting them with their development of PE and Sport. Born out of the historical Points School Sports Partnership, the organisation was set up by directors Ian Spooner and Helen Stevens.

Points LN was set up to maintain the existing network that had existed throughout the life of Points SSP and to continue the valuable work that collaborating as a group of schools, interested in developing PE and Sport, brings.

Our work involves collaborating with schools to support PE planning and development, both in and out of the curriculum. We also provide opportunities for our schools to engage in leadership training, staff continuous professional development (CPD), sports festivals and competitions, health and fitness projects as well as assisting with the hosting of Sheffield’s  annual PE and Sport conference.

Through our work with schools our main aim is to support Headteachers, PE coordinators and their staff to provide their school community with a breadth and depth of opportunity in PE and Sport that enhances the lives of those that experience it.

As part of our role we work with a range of local and national partners to ensure that we bring up-to-date and relevant information to our schools. Please log in at the top of this page to access the latest documents, reporting templates and much more.
